Q: Is this a larp for only women?
A: No! It is a larp you can play no matter what your off game gender identity is. There will be characters of any gender at the larp, however the doctrine of the group ingame glorify female attributes and look down on male attributes.
This means that transgender characters that does not identify as female (that is non binary, agender, gender fluid and trans masc etc) will be judged by how well they perform feminity.
Q: Is this larp accesible for players under the age of 18?
A: Yes and no. Since this is a larp with sensitive subjects we will want any participant to be over the age of 16. If the participant is under 18, they will need permission from a legal guardian and we might take extra precaution in casting them.
Q: How do we portray sex and violence at this larp?
A: Sex and violence will not be playable themes at this larp so we will not have any specific meta techniques to portray that.
Q:Will there be alcohol at this larp?
A: There will not be alcohol at this larp. If you are of a legal age to drink in Sweden (18 and up) you are allowed to drink after the game ends.
Q: What safety mechanics will be used at this larp?
A: We will be working with the tap out mechanic as well as off game calibration. There will be organisers available off game to debrief if neccesary.
Q: What’s the play style of this larp?
A: Sisterhood is a Nordic larp with great emphasis on immersion and a pressure cooker approach to conflict. UIt’s a slow larp experience with few big dramatic climaxs but focus on the unsaid and surpressed. With long periods of quiet time and perhaps even boredom. We hope to give you as a player the possibility to truly just be, in character, with other players.
