We want to try and make the larp The Sisterhood as sustainable as possible. The climate crisis is real and should always be taken into account when organising bigger events. But especially since one of the themes of the larp it self will have to do with climate change and (emotionally toxic) sustainability rethorics we felt especially passionately about trying to make the experience as sustainable as possible.
This is what we have decided to do:
1. Only serve vegan food (unless impossible due to dietary needs), and try to buy as much organic and local produce as possible.
2. Offer cheaper tickets to those that travel more sustainably and more expensive tickets to those that fly in, since flights often are cheaper than more sustainable choices such as train.
3. Help coordiante car shares and communal transport to the best of our ability.
4. Prioritize players choosing to travel sustainably to the larp.
5. Donate 10% of any surplus to a Swedish organisation working for the enviroment.
